In the European session, the main highlight was the UK CPI report. The data missed expectations across the board and sent the pound lower. It shouldn't change much for the November BoE meeting, but traders will likely increase the probabilities for a cut at the December meeting.
In the American session, we don't have anything other than a couple of low tier releases. There will be a few ECB speakers but they will repeat the same stuff as usual.
Central bank speakers:
- 11:00 GMT/07:00 ET - ECB's de Guindos (neutral - voter)
- 12:25 GMT/08:25 ET - ECB President Lagarde (neutral - voter)
