In the European session, the main highlight was the UK CPI report. The data beat expectations across the board and gave the Pound a boost as traders are likely going to trim rate cut expectations further. Looking ahead, we just have the Eurozone final CPI readings which are not going to change anything for the market.
In the American session, we have Fed's Waller and the FOMC meeting minutes. Unfortunately, the topic for Waller's speech is "payments", so we are unlikely to get monetary policy comments. Even if he did comment on policy, unless it's something hawkish, it wouldn't change anything for the market because it would be "old news".
Finally, we have the FOMC meeting minutes. They are rarely market-moving because they become "old news" by the time they get released. In this case, they became outdated since the NFP report and the change in stance from a few Fed members.
