USD strength has crept back in as China tariff implementation time nears

I posted on the imminent hit to China here:

• Extra Trump tariffs on China are due to hit in a little over 5 hours

That 5 hours has shrunk now, the tariffs are due for implementation at 1201 US Eastern time (0501 GMT) on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

The USD has turned higher, here is the AUD, for example:
