  • Its going on to 8.30 am in Tokyo and 7.30 in Hong Kong/Singapore

Oil has lost further ground with the news of the ceasefire:

  • Trump announces Iran and Israel have agreed to a “Complete and Total CEASEFIRE"
  • CNN reports that Iran has not received any ceasefire proposal
  • News of Iranian confirmation of ceasefire agreement filtering in now - all good
  • More ceasefire confirmation - Senior Iranian official confirms to Reuters

The US dollar has lost further ground also. EUR, AUD, NZD, GBP, JPY all higher. CAD and CHf a bit laggy.

For the sake of peace fingers crossed the ceasefire holds and progresses to an end to the war. I've my doubts, but we'll see.
