US Treasury Chief Bessent said the US has had very good talks with China.
He said the status quo with China is working very well.
He expects the US economy to pick up in Q4.
He acknowledged there are some distributional problems in the economy.
When asked if the trilateral meeting will be in Budapest, Bessent replied “could be.”
