S&P 500 futures are down 7 points, or 0.1%, ahead of the open.
Nasdaq futures are slightly higher as tech outperforms once again.
The highlight this week is tomorrow's US retail sales report but we will also run into a holiday on Wednesday. That could cool this week's trading through it runs into a big finale with Friday's quad witching.
