US House passes Trump-backed bill of $9 billion in spending cuts

It is the first time in quite a while that any US president has managed to pull off such a rescissions request and the Trump administration has said that it might not be the last this term. The $9 billion claw back here are for cuts to public broadcasting and foreign aid. Now, all there's left is for Trump to sign it into law.
