There was unease in the market all day despite Donald Trump starting the day with a call to CNBC that was somewhat reassuring on the war. Warsh's comments were not market moving and the retail sales report was ignored.
It was all about Iran and the market sniffed trouble as the day went on before some heavier late selling on a Tasnim report that Iran has walked away. Shortly afterwards, the AP reported that Vance had cancelled plans to go to Pakistan.
