The US dollar is higher by around a dozen pips in the past few minutes as we count down to the US equity open. S&P 500 futures are up 9 points and volatility may be low as we await the 2 pm ET FOMC decision.
I wouldn't expect a big change in tone from the Fed but they're likely to highlight uncertainty and indicate they'll be watching from the sidelines for a couple months (at least).
A dip in cable towards the session low highlight some minor USD buying.
