After a torrid winter period, UK retail sales are seen improving in March with the report this time around reflecting the first positive sales expectations in seven months. The expected sales balance for April moved up to 9, from -18 in March. CBI notes that the rebound in activity is "encouraging and showed signs of stabilising after a challenging winter".
