The UK economy flatlined in July with services activity only contributing a marginal growth to start Q3, offset by declines in industry and manufacturing. All of this will continue to keep the BOE on their toes, amid worries about fiscal health and more stubborn price pressures as well. Stagflation risks look set to stay the course through to year-end at least.
