- following his call for an urgent evacuation of Tehran amid escalating conflict in the Middle East
- also declined to endorse a joint communiqué urging de-escalation
- “You can see what I’m seeing—I need to get back quickly. I’d like to stay for tomorrow, but they get it. This is serious.”
