We have had so many false signs of hope on ending the war in Gaza but there are some fresh positive signs today after President Trump met with Arab and Muslim leaders yesterday.
Axios reports that Trump presented them with an 'outline' for ending the war and post-Hamas governance, which the White House called a "21-point plan for peace in the Middle East."
"We’re hopeful - and I might say even confident - that in the coming days we’ll be able to announce some sort of breakthrough", White House envoy Steve Witkoff said.
It comes after Trump told leaders on the sidelines of the UN that the war must end urgently.
I don't know if there is anything new as the sources said the US proposals were variations of ideas that have been discussed over the last six months.
