Treasury quarterly refunding coupon auction sizes unchanged

  • Sees steady auction sizes for next several quarters
  • Will continue to sell $42 billion in 10s

The line in the refunding statement about 'keeping auction sizes steady for at least the next several quarters' was left in.

The bond market is selling off in the aftermath of this but I think it's about the weak GDP report, which the market may be reading as a sign that Congress will have the green light to run up the deficit.
