The unadjusted jobless rate remains stable at 2.8% but the seasonally adjusted reading ticks higher to 3.0%, marking a return to its highest level since July 2021. The number of registered unemployed persons also increased to 133,233 people - up from 132,105 in August. This just reaffirms a continued softening in the Swiss labour market, albeit rather gradual.
