A slight tick lower in the jobless rate once again, reaffirming some continued improvement in labour market conditions. That said, the unadjusted rate did tick higher to 2.6% from 2.5% in November. Meanwhile, the number of registered unemployed stood at 121,728 last month and at least that is down from 163,545 from December 2020.
