Russian gas flow to Finland to be halted on 21 May at 0400 GMT

  • According to Finnish energy company, Gasum

Russia is taking its supposed "countermeasures" over Finland's move to join NATO. The move above has already been touted over the past two days and while Finland does import most of its gas from Russia, gas accounts for only about 5% of its annual energy consumption.

According to data from 1 January to 16 March, Russian gas exports to Finland averaged around 3.2 million cubic metres per day.
