Russia's defence minister, Sergei Shoigu, will be having a phone call with US defence secretary, Llyod Austin, today at the request of the US, according to the news citing the Russian ministry. I reckon any dialogue is a positive point at this stage so let's see if we will hear about the conversation later in the day.
