The US bond market will be closed on Monday next week but the stock market will remain open. It is still a national holiday, so that will sap some of the liquidity from markets in general. With US lawmakers also set for a break until Tuesday, it will feel more like a long weekend in any case.
So, this is just a reminder and heads up to that as we continue to see delays to key economic data amid the government shutdown.
