Quiet economic calendar greets a groggy US market

  • Clocks moved an hour ahead in North America

Daylight savings time is over in North America and that moved US and Canadian clocks one hour closer to Europe for the time being. That leaves a four-hour gap between London and New York until the end of the month and will leave North Americans a bit underslept today.

The good news is that the economic calendar is light today with no Fed speakers scheduled and only the lowly February employment trends report to come at 10 am ET.
