Private oil survey data shows larger than expected draw in headline crude oil inventory

  • The inventory data from the private survey is out now, official data follows Wednesday morning (US time)

Expectations I had seen centred on:

  • headline crude inventory expected at -2.8m barrels
  • gasoline expected +0.5m
  • distillates expected flat
