Its been a big week in NZ, with awful growth numbers:

• New Zealand Q2 GDP -0.9% q/q (vs. -0.3% expected)

And a new Reserve Bank of New Zealand governor named:

• Reserve Bank of New Zealand new Governor appointed: Anna Breman

Breman will get into the big chair on December 1. Ahead of that there is a meeting on October 8 and November 26. I'm expecting a 25bp rate cut on October 8. Those GDP numebrs were awful and prompted calls for a 50bp cut, we'll see.
