The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says ships operating in the Gulf region experienced a sharp rise in GNSS signal interference between October 3 and 7.
The disruptions, centred around Bandar-e-Pars, the Strait of Hormuz, and Port Sudan, also caused widespread “AIS speed anomalies” across the Gulf, Port Sudan, and Suez Canal.
