Japan to keep imported wheat price unchanged despite inflation, & also to curb fuel prices

The news was out on Sunday, that Japan will hold the price of imported wheat unchanged

  • to keep unchanged the average price at which it sells imported wheat to milling companies from October onward

Also, Japanese PM Kishida will act to restrain rising fuel prices, the Trade Minister to present further steps on rising energy prices, and rising electricity prices.
