Japan’s Prime Minister Ishiba said the important priority is an immediate ceasefire and the achievement of a 'fair peace' when asked about the US-Ukraine meeting.
He added that Japan will consider what it can do in terms of security for Ukraine from the standpoint of its legal framework and capabilities.
'from a standpoint of its legal framework and capabilities'...that's a really nice way of saying we probably won't be able to do anything.
Will have to remember this line the next time the kids ask me for more screen time.
