Japan chief cabinet secretary Matsuno:
- no comment on every day-to-day FX move
- closely watching FX moves with a high sense of urgency
- will take appropriate steps on excessive FX moves
These remarks are not really convincing.
I know I have posted the following two lines many times today, but this is the sort of thing to watch for, not this milquetoast from Matsuno
