The Canadian dollar is lagging today and a portion of that is likely due to the local holiday. Canadian markets are closed today for Victoria Day.
It's also an unofficial holiday for the large part of the country that can't stand the Toronto Maple Leafs as they were routed in a playoff elimination game yesterday.
