The Italian economy stagnated in Q3 and narrowly escapes a recession, as the reading above is weaker than estimated. There was no specific breakdown by Istat but they did note that while manufacturing expanded, a decline in agriculture and stagnation in services proved to be the drag for the economy in the last quarter.
