The AAII Sentiment Survey is underrated by market participants. If we go back almost exactly a year to when tech stocks bottomed, it was screaming to buy as sentiment was at its worst ever levels by some metrics.
We're nowhere near that yet with just 40.9% investors saying they're bearish but this is one that's worth keeping an eye on if equities continues to deteriorate in October.
