Reuters is reporting on the matter and the sources cited also say that India's defence minister has cancelled his planned visit to the US. This comes as India is now pausing plans to purchase US arms, which would've included Boeing P-8I aircrafts, Stryker vehicles, and Javelin missiles.

It is said that India is now waiting on more clarity on US tariffs and trade developments before thinking about resuming arms purchase discussions. On trying to find a compromise, India is reported to be open to reducing oil imports from Russia as part of any tariffs settlement. But for now, we'll have to wait and see if there is any common ground to work with after things have gone south rather quickly in the past few weeks.
