A piece on oil ICYMI. The gist is that Russia has recently contacted several Asian buyers to discuss selling its oil at hefty discounts under long-term contracts. Info via a Bloomberg report:
- Russia has had initial talks with some Asian buyers
- possible discounts are in the range of up to 30%
- this would assist in securing export markets to those Asian buyers. Russia will soon be locked out of exports to the EU.
