It will take some time to get US economic data back on track but at least this will restart the close. The vote is a formality as Republicans have a majority and this one only needs a simple majority. Surely Trump will sign the bill shortly afterwards.
The bill only opens the government until Jan 30 so we could be doing this whole song and dance again shortly.
