That's a solid beat for German retail sales with a better revision to boot for the month of May. That said, the bounce comes after some months of disappointment (as typically the case) so there's that to note. Compared to the same month a year ago though, retail sales is still seen up 4.9%. Looking at the breakdown, food retail sales increased by 0.3% while non-food retail sales were up 1.4% on the month.
