The German trade balance narrowed slightly in July as exports eased more than expected on the month, with imports declining by lesser after accounting for seasonal adjustments. Once again, most German exports were to the US during the month but the amount was 7.9% lesser than in June. Total exports to the US now falls to €11.1 billion - the lowest tally since December 2021.
