Compared to February last year, German wholesale prices are seen up 1.6% - largely due to an increase in prices for wholesale trade of food, beverages, and tobacco products. In particular, coffee, tea, cocoa, and spices were considerably more expensive at the wholesale level than a year earlier (+43.8%).
Just something to take note of as this will ultimately reflect on higher prices being fed to consumers in due time.
