Freddie Mac 30 year mortgage rate for the current week rises to 6.34% from 6.30% last week

Freddie Mac is reporting that the 30 year fixed-rate mortgage rose to 6.34% from 6.30% last week.

US 10-year yield has moved off of low levels reached on September 17 at 5.992%. It is currently trading at 4.101%, by reached as high as 4.187% off of the cycle low.

Mortgage rates tend to follow the 10-year yield as a proxy.
