Eurozone March current account balance -€1.57 billion vs €20.8 billion prior

You're reading that right, folks. The euro area recorded a monthly current account deficit, the first since April 2012. The deficit comes from the goods side, which saw imports beat out exports by roughly €4 billion. That adds to the roughly €12 billion deficit in secondary income, before being offset by the roughly €14 billion surplus in services and €1 billion in primary income.
