  • A softer tone after the drop in Wall Street on Friday
  • German DAX futures -0.4%
  • UK FTSE futures -0.3%

This follows the decline in US indices on Friday last week. So, the early retreat in Europe looks to be in part a catch up to that. As for the overall risk mood, things are looking more tentative. S&P 500 futures are just marginally lower so far today and that's not giving much for traders to work with for now.
