This comes after stocks had a volatile session yesterday after the US CPI report. The early optimism was dashed and the strong gains initially were all but pared come market close in US trading. As such, there is some catching up in Europe now. As for overall sentiment, it is more tepid with US futures near unchanged levels so far today.
