This comes as US futures are also paring losses from earlier with S&P 500 futures now down just 0.2%. It's still early in the day though as we do have the US jobs report also to contend with alongside Fed chair Powell's speech. Also, there will surely be more tariff headlines to deal with later in US trading as well.
