European indices look for a bounce back in the final stretch of the week

  • A positive open but still subject to developments in the Middle East
  • Eurostoxx +0.8%
  • Germany DAX +0.8%
  • France CAC 40 +0.6%
  • UK FTSE +0.4%
  • Spain IBEX +0.6%
  • Italy FTSE MIB +0.6%

This of course comes after three straight days of declines, so this is more about salvaging something at the very least towards the end of the week. As things stand, overall risk sentiment remains more tentative at best with S&P 500 futures down 0.2%. With little else on the agenda, all eyes are staying on the developments in the Middle East and whether the US will get involved in the Iran-Israel conflict.
