Dutch TTF gas futures have opened with a spike higher of 26% to €265 MW/h as energy prices in Europe look set for another big surge following the news on late Friday that Russia is halting flows via the Nord Stream pipeline indefinitely.

As mentioned earlier here, it's a troubling development for Europe ahead of the winter months and this is also weighing strongly on the euro, regional equities, and bond yields as well to start the new week.
