DOJ: Calls on Fed chair Powell to remove Fed Gov. Cook

  • DOJ Special Attorney calls on Fed Chair Powell to fire Fed Gov. Cook over mortgage fraud allegations. Fed Gov. Cook vows not to be bullied by Pres. Trump.
Federal Reserve

Ed Martin who on Twitter is listed as the "Special Attorney addressing mortgage fraud by public officials for

@TheJusticeDept

under the leadership of

@AGPamBondi

and

@POTUS

Trump", has sent a letter to Fed chair Powell urging him to fire Fed Gov. Cook for the mortgage fraud allegations.

Of course, the allegations are allegations. Cook has not been officially charged. I can imagine that Feds Powell will not preempt any allegations by firing Cook. Fed Gov.. Cook has already stated that she will not be bullied by Pres. Trump

I would imagine if Pres. Trump could fire Cook, he would just like he fired the BLS director.
