Chinese stock markets continue to get slammed lower

Over the weekend we had continued bland and vague promise from Chinese officials trying to prop up the stock markets:

• Weekend - China pledged to stabilise markets but policymakers offered no specifics

These have been, rightly, ignored.

Hong Kong and China mainland stocks are lower again. Shanghai Composite hitting five year lows and what have you.
