China is ready to build a “more stable and strategic partnership” with Australia, Premier Li Qiang told Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during talks in Malaysia, according to state news agency Xinhua.
The meeting underscores ongoing efforts by both countries to stabilise relations after several years of trade and diplomatic friction. Li’s remarks suggest Beijing seeks a more predictable framework for cooperation as regional tensions and global trade challenges persist.
