Car sales in China up 27% m/m in the first half of May

I posted this earlier this week:

• In Shanghai not a single car was sold in April (Shanghai Automobile Sales Association)

Following up now with a little more encouraging news, via CNA:

• Retail car sales in China jumped 27 per cent in the first half of May from the same period a month earlier
• Still down 21 per cent from a year earlier
