Canada April manufacturing sales +1.7% m/m vs +1.6% expected

• Prior was +2.5% (revised to +3.5%)

This is a lagging survey but there have been several ongoing strong readings on Canadian manufacturing. I wouldn't read too much into that because inventories have been drawn down and need to be rebuilt.
