The ANZ - Roy Morgan consumer confidence survey is conducted weekly.
Last week the index hit its highest in 11 months.
According to ANZ economists, ‘Weekly inflation expectations’ were down 0.2 percentage points to 5.0%, while the four-week moving average edged down from 5.3% to 5.1%.
