  • The largest incursion since October 1 2021 when 148 Chinese air force planes flew through Taiwan's air defence zone.

On Sunday, Taiwan reported 39 Chinese aircraft flying toward the island.

  • 34 fighters
  • four electronic warfare aircraft
  • one bomber
