Sarah Sanders comments:
- US China trade meetings start again on the 19th in DC
- Lighthizer to lead
- Mnuchin, Ross, Kudlow, Navarro attending the talks also
Earlier we got news China's big wheel negotiator, Vice Premiier Liu He will be In Washington Feb 21 and 22. So they'll be the higher level talks, once he gets into town.
Sanders adds:
- Trade talks will focus on "needed structural changes in China that affect trade"
- as well as China's pledge to purchase "a substantial amount of goods and services from the US"
Yeah, no.
This: Trade talks will focus on "needed structural changes in China that affect trade"
If so they'll get bogged down and an agreement won't be reached.
This though:
as well as China's pledge to purchase "a substantial amount of goods and services from the US"
Well, yeah, OK. Soybean me up!
